WHAT IS VOCA?
We are a terrific group of dedicated students -- a group of commuters, working for commuters.
We love Victoria College, and we’re here to represent the commuter student body at Victoria College and to improve commuter student life on campus!
We want to spread this enthusiasm to all students, so that when it comes time for each of us to leave, we know that we have played our part in improving the
university experience (and have enjoyed it, too!)
About Us
VUSAC's Commuter Commission
We are here to represent the commuter student body at Victoria College and to improve commuter student life on campus.
For those who are unfamiliar with what we do, VOCA has free weekly pancake brunches (which are open to ALL students) and many other fun events throughout the year like movie and trivia nights, karaoke, and more!
Our key event of the year, Home for
the Holidays, is a large holiday market hosted in Old Vic in November.
We also offer several services such as free locker rentals (located in the Goldring basement), and oversee and maintain the commuter lounge and commuter kitchen spaces.

Co-Chairs
VOCA is run by two Co-Chairs:
the Commuter Commissioner
the Co-Chair.
The Commissioner differs from the Co-Chair only in that they have additional responsibilities to VUSAC as a voting member, and are required to sit on additional committees/boards.
The Commuter Commissioner is elected during the Spring Elections and the Commuter
Co-Chair is hired in the spring.

VOCA also has a team of 10 Upper-Year executives:

Upper-Year executives are hired in the summer.
First year executives in September.
Councillors are elected to VUSAC in September.
NOTABLE EVENTS
Pancake Brunches
Once a week, VOCA offers FREE fluffy pancakes with wonderful toppings for all students to enjoy! Stop by the Cat’s Eye to fill your tummies, whether you’re running from class to class, or just hanging around to socialize!
Home for the Holidays
Our key event of the year, Home for the Holidays, is a large holiday market hosted in Old Vic featuring booths run by various student Groups at Victoria College. Come join us on Thursday, November 21st for a night of fun and games!
